See my Remembering Emily post for background information. This cloth was part of the Wilding Festival on the 15th June at St George’s in Bloomsbury where Emily’s memorial service had been held. It was carried in the procession by her descendent and draped in the church where her coffin had stood 100 years ago. Thanks to Sarah Evans @ artwithaheart

Stitching Up Oxford Road

Stitching Up Oxford Rd was a commission to create a collaborative artwork with and about Manchester Oxford Rd and involved working with groups and organisations based on this busy throughfare. The quilt was made from plastic bags collected on Oxford and “transformed” in workshops up and down Oxford Rd.
